After the declaration of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 at the 2019 UN Climate Action Summit, carbon neutrality has become a global topic as the best way to overcome the climate crisis.
They are now at a turning point towards a carbon-neutral society. Countries around the world are revising large-scale government policies and laws, expanding support for eco-friendly investments while competing to develop eco-friendly technologies and infrastructure. At the same time, the role of individuals as well as corporations is being strengthened.

- Middle and high school students from any country
- Grades between 7th and 12th in the U.S. education system or equivalent on May 31, 2023 (Last year, students from 46 countries participated in.)

- Word limit: Your essay must be shorter than 1,300 words in English or 800 words or less in Korean
